[Sea Freight] Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange advances further to 1151 points

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Monday boosted by strong capesize and panamax rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Monday boosted by strong capesize and panamax rates.

The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by another 20 points to 1151 points on Monday.

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
